Aldermaston Park is a country house and private park built in the Victorian era in the English county of Berkshire. The site has a rich and interesting history. Most recently the site was bought by commercial property investors Praxis for redevelopment. Working with Praxis and their appointed design team, we produced a series of CGIs depicting their vision for the site’s rebirth.

Praxis have now submitted a planning application for the restoration and conversion of the Manor House, refurbishment and extension of the lodges, works to a number of historic features and the parkland, and the construction of 227 homes on the northern part of the site.

Liverpool’s Alder Hey is one of the biggest and busiest children’s hospitals in Europe, but with outdated premises quality care has proven increasingly difficult. The Hospital Trust is planning a new, pioneering ‘Children’s Health Park’ and our client, Balfour Beatty, was shortlisted for the new design and build.

Working with Balfour Beatty throughout 2010 and 2011, we became a critical element in the bid team. In that time, and in response to ongoing feedback from the Trust, we produced over 30 photorealistic CGIs, as well as seven animations communicating the central concept, the distribution of departments and facilities, the movement of people through the building, and a general sense of how the hospital and its park would look and feel.

Most notably of all, we created what we called the ‘Wonder Film’: a vivid piece that communicates the sense of wonder the new building would inspire.

Working with Barratt Bristol’s marketing team and alongside architects HTA, we created an animation for one of the countries most important eco-developments, Hanham Hall, Bristol.

178 new homes will be built at the site, and the original grade II listed hall will be transformed as the development’s centrepiece.

Our animation showcased the schemes spacious layout, beautifully landscaped grounds, and large selection of house types.  We also crafted a supporting series of high-resolution CGIs - one for each house type - as well as an aerial view of the entire scheme to communicate its layout and amenities offer.  The images feature on the development website, site hoardings and within printed marketing brochures.

The scheme is England’s first large scale zero carbon development; It is currently under construction and well ahead of schedule.

“Hello we’re Balfour Beatty!” 

We produced a series of construction and logistics CGIs, as well as a vibrant, confident animation that helped Balfour Beatty secure the £30 million Citizen M hotel scheme at Tower Hill London.

Marketing CGIs

Working with client Terrace Hill and architects EPR, we produced a series of day and evening marketing Computer Generated Images (CGIs). These featured across various print and digital platforms, and helped market the scheme to potential commercial and retail tenants.

Long ago, in a time of dreams, England seemed in with a strong chance of hosting the 2018 FIFA World Cup. And the historic municipality of Bristol was bidding to be one of the host cities.

The bid team asked us to produce a film that could provide a rousing finale for their presentation to FIFA, as well as inspiring public support and engagement online.

We responded with an immersive, story-driven film built around the bid’s core concept of ‘Come and Play’. Having presented you with a futuristic ticket for the cup matches, the film sweeps you away on a dramatic journey through a series of Bristol micro-environments, bringing the city’s vision of their World Cup to vivid life.

Working in partnership with respected Jordanian film makers, Fluid Productions, we were selected from a group of international studios to produce the CG film and composite segments for the key marketing resource for the Ma’an Development Area which is set to become a regional hub for industrial activity and a centre of excellence for vocational training in Jordan.

The final film is being used across the Middle East to promote the MDA to industry, investors and developers and shows the concepts of an integrated, sustainable city growing from the empty landscape.

In 2016 the new the British Postal Museum & Archive will not only offer improved exhibitions and event spaces but will also open its doors to something truly remarkable - The Mail Rail. 

The museum is developing a stretch of the old Post Office London Underground Railway, allowing visitors to explore the hidden world of this railway under Mount Pleasant through an engaging exhibition and interactive ride. In total, visitors will be taken through 1km of the original tunnels, following the same route that much of the nation’s mail took for nearly 80 years from 1927-2003.

Early in the museum's development process we created this engaging animation to - support market research, help secure planning and funding, and to promote development.

On Monday 10th March Islington Borough Council approved the British Postal Museum & Archive’s planning application for the scheme.

On 7th February, London architects EPR, won unanimous approval from Croydon Council’s planning committee to transform a disused office building – known locally as Nestlé Tower - into 288 residential apartments.

Our AVR 1 images, delivered in advance of pre-application meetings, helped reach consensus on key parameters of the design. These were then complemented with a set of AVR 3s, which were presented side-by-side in the final application document.
